O cuidado na anorexia nervosa

Anorexia nervosa is a highly prevalent disorder among young women. In this disorder, there is a heightened vigilance regarding one's own body, identifying potential weight gains and body parts with increased volume, which results in an alienation from the body (Leib). The bodily transformations inherent to adolescence help explain the nature of this alienation, such as breast and hip growth, the onset of menstruation, among others. Additionally, it is a period in which new responsibilities emerge that were not present in childhood. The aim of this study is to investigate anorexia in adolescent girls in light of the notion of "Sorge" as conceptualized in Being and Time. The changes that characterize adolescence indicate a specific mode of care that manifests in the phenomenon of anorexia through restrictive diets and heightened vigilance of the body.
